Bill catches a young boy, who pleads for his life, but Bill sinks his fangs into the enemy's neck. Inside the gore-spattered lair, Eric tells Sookie that the silver shrapnel he's taken is killing him - she'll have to suck it out to save him. The silver was no threat, Bill tells Sookie. But when Bill comes back inside and finds her working on the second slug in Eric's chest, he's furious. Bill races inside, where he scans the bloody tableau, calling Sookie's name. She's alive, shielded by Eric, who urges Bill to chase after the rest of the Soldiers of the Sun before they can escape. he sends the soldier back to the Fellowship, commanding him to tell his leader that vampires showed him mercy. it was just a ploy to get her to drink the Nordic vampire's blood....

The focus of his excitement this year is on the ice dance drama "Viva la Vida," which will evoke the life and paintings of Frida Kahlo through a Day of the Dead ceremony, from the ancient Mexican holiday celebrating the dead. "We also have the puppets and some great scenic elements to represent the trolley crash that crippled Kahlo, and some interesting ways to reproduce her paintings," Carson said. So, as producer of the Winter Lights Festival, he has postponed the show for a week and rearranged events to all happen on the same day, Feb. Carson and Beth Woronoff created the piece, which will be performed by the Boundless Edge Ice Dance Ensemble, which Woronoff founded. To evoke Kahlo's somewhat calamitous life, Carson and Woronoff have enlisted a former Olympic skater, Line Haddad, who, at 13, was the youngest Olympic pair skater, in 1992. Read more
